Oki-Do Yoga

Yoga Teacher Training

The course is experiential in nature and is designed to train and support people wishing to teach and share yoga principles and practices as well as to enhance participant’s overall quality of life. It is structured to fit in with normal work, household and family commitments.

The course is for people who have a good foundation in yoga, ideally having practiced on a regular basis for at least one year. It’s for people wishing to teach or share yoga as well as for those wishing to deepen and explore their experience of life using yoga as the method of research.

The course includes more than 320 hours of face-to-face tuition over a one-year period, which is also designed to meet the requirements for membership of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia (YTAA). The other main requirements for YTAA membership are a two-year mentoring relationship with a recognised Yoga Teacher and a St John’s Ambulance Certificate.

Planned to be offered again in 2011.
